Working with VMGD, ClimateABILITY’s Director Amanda Amjadali and her team (in her former role as co-Director of PSS) created a tailored training course targeting non-science-based audiences to enable climate sensitive to understand and use climate information.

This training package can also support disaster risk management and climate change adaptation and is part of a bigger resource library of climate training in Vanuatu. This new training program aligns to the educational requirements and guidelines of Vanuatu’s national Qualifications Authority standards.

Though this training is essentially aimed at the climate sensitive sectors, various components can also be used by the VMGD to train other stakeholders in topics such as climate change and climate variability.
